Your family and friends will enjoy year round use of the 150 miles of hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing trails leading through pristine pine woods, lush meadows, and our quarter mile long private beach along Nason Creek.

There are numerous day hikes nearby for families with young children and experienced adventurers alike. This is an ideal central hub for all of your year-round activities, with Thousand Trails three miles north and Stevens Pass Ski Area less than 20 minutes west. Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake are just 5 minutes up the road for lake fishing and water sports activities.

Natapoc Lodge’s 12 acres border US Forest Service property on Nason ridge, boasting access to miles and miles of world class Nordic Trails. You can indulge in a quick tour on the shores of Lake Wenatchee, enjoy a full day trip up Nason Ridge or Natapoc Ridge, or go even further towards the Cascade Crest. If that’s not enough for you, the lodge is just a quick 15 minutes away from the Stevens Pass Nordic Center.

The area surrounding Natapoc Lodge offers some of the Pacific Northwest’s best fishing opportunities. Fish Lake is minutes from our property and is world renowned for its Trophy Brown Trout, boasting some of the largest you’ll ever see on the end of a fishing pole. Hiking

There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails just steps from Natapoc Lodge. The Alpine lookout trail head is literally 2 miles from the lodge, as well as hundreds of other renowned Cascade hiking destinations. Only 30 miles from the lodge, you will find the Enchantments, considered one of the best hikes in North America. The Enchantments consist of a high alpine basin full of lakes, larch, mountain goats, and fantastically stark granite. So, don’t forget your hiking boots and poles, your next hiking adventure awaits!

Head over toMountain Springs and take a guided tour, or try something more adventurous like an overnight trip or a hunting trip. Natapoc Lodge is also minutes away from the YMCA horse camp at Lake Wenatchee. So, giddy up! Your next adventure is right around the corner.

Have you ever wanted to ice skate, not on a closed ice rink, but in the great outdoors? Well, now is your chance! Natapoc Lodge is a short five minute drive from Fish Lake, home to a maintained outdoor ice rink. Take in the breathtaking mountain views and feel the wind in your face as you whisk across the lake. You can even organize a game of ice hockey under the sun. This is a rare opportunity in Washington state, that you’ll definitely want to take advantage of!

Mountain Biking

Leavenworth is home to a vibrant and growing cycling community, both to folks who moved here for that very reason, and visitors bitten by the biking bug who come again and again. The Nason Ridge trail is on the other side of the creek on our property here at Natapoc Lodge. It is a thigh pumping, 18 mile trip, with incredible views from the top. And Nason Ridge is just the beginning. There are hundreds of other great trails to explore in the Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, and Tumwater Canyon area.

River Rafting

The Wenatchee River offers the most popular white water rafting trips in the state. The river has the largest volume of raftable white water around and is known for its relaxing calm stretches and its very distinctive Class 3 to 3+ rapids—the largest waves in Washington! If you’re an adrenaline junkie, Leavenworth boasts Class IV “Triple Shot” and “Tinley Falls” rapids. If you want something more laid back, just head outside on the Natapoc Lodge property to Nason Creek, where you’ll find a relaxing float down to Lake Wenatchee. Whatever your thrill level, we’ve got something for you.

Rock and Ice Magazine gave the Leavenworth area the honor of being one of the top 10 climbing cities in the United States. Within 20 miles of Natapoc Lodge you’ll find over 50 crags that are known for their varied difficulties on solid granite. Climbers come from all over the country to take advantage of the walls of Careno Crag, Midnight Rock, Castle Rock and Givler’s Dome. Don’t come to climb without checking out the Peshastin Pinnacles, a 34-acre state park boasting sandstone slabs giving climbers multi-pitch challenges and jaw-dropping views of the Cascade range.

The trails around Natapoc Lodge are known among the snowmobiling community as world class and the best in the Northwest! The area receives 175 inches of snow annually and with elevation ranges in the area from 2,000 on up to 7,000 feet, incredible snowmobiling abounds! We are in the heart of the action—head up Nason Ridge, up Natapoc Mountain, out to Trinity Valley and beyond, or all the week up to Sugar Loaf Lookout to take in the incredible views. Bring your own snowmobiles, rent from one of the many reputable rental companies, or even take a guided tour. Regardless of your skill and adventure level, all the best Snowmobile excitement awaits you during your stay at Natapoc Lodge.

Natapoc Lodge receives an average of 175 inches of snow each season. Some of the most beautiful and remote sites await you, but not without snow shoes! Don’t fret, the lodge is stocked with 8 pairs of snow shoes for your enjoyment. Take a tour of our property, through the meadows, the woods, and along beautiful Nason Creek. Or head over to Lake Wenatchee state park and enjoy the mountain and lake views. If that isn’t enough adventure, head up to the Stevens Pass Nordic Center or up to Trinity Valley for miles of snow shoeing adventures!
